Compare the2026 McLaren 750SVS 2025 Ferrari Daytona SP3

2026 McLaren 750S
2025 Ferrari Daytona SP3

Safety

The McLaren 750S has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The 750S offers an optional 360 Degree Park Assist to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The Daytona SP3 only offers a rear monitor.

Both the 750S and the Daytona SP3 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and rearview cameras.

Warranty

The 750S’ corrosion warranty is 7 years longer than the Daytona SP3’s (10 vs. 3 years).

Reliability

The Daytona SP3’s redline is at 9500 RPM, which causes more engine wear, and a greater chance of a catastrophic engine failure. The 750S has a 8500 RPM redline.

Engine

The 750S’ 4.0 turbo V8 produces 76 lbs.-ft. more torque (590 vs. 514) than the Daytona SP3’s 6.5 DOHC V12.

Fuel Economy and Range

On the EPA test cycle the 750S gets better fuel mileage than the Daytona SP3 (15 city/19 hwy vs. 12 city/16 hwy).

Brakes and Stopping

The 750S has standard air brakes, which adjust the Spoiler automatically during high-speed braking in order to shorten stopping distances. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer air brakes.

Suspension and Handling

The 750S offers an available adjustable active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Ferrari doesn’t offer an active suspension on the Daytona SP3.

The 750S has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

Chassis

The McLaren 750S may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 300 to 400 pounds less than the Ferrari Daytona SP3.

The 750S is 4.6 inches shorter than the Daytona SP3, making the 750S easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

Passenger Space

The 750S has 3 cubic feet more passenger volume than the Daytona SP3 (47 vs. 44).

Ergonomics

When two different drivers share the 750S, the optional memory system makes it convenient for both. Each setting activates different, customized memories for the driver’s seat position, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a memory system.

The 750S’ front power windows open or close with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside of the car. The Daytona SP3’s front passenger window doesn’t close automatically.

The 750S’ standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Daytona SP3’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

If the windows are left open on the 750S the driver can close all of them at the outside door handle or from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can also lower the windows the same way. The driver of the Daytona SP3 can only operate the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

In case of a sudden change of weather, the 750S Convertible has a standard remote convertible top that can be raised from a distance to protect the interior of the vehicle from damage. On a hot day the 750S Convertible has a standard remote opening feature, to lower the top from outside. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a remote top, so the driver will have to run to the car, get in, turn the ignition on and raise the top to prevent the interior from being damaged.

The 750S’ standard Keyless Entry and Start allow you to unlock the doors from either outside door handle and start the engine, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. Keyless Start standard on the Daytona SP3 only offers hands-free access for the ignition, none to unlock the car.

Both the McLaren 750S and Ferrari Daytona SP3 offer exterior mirrors that can be folded to provide convenience. The 750S features standard power folding mirrors, which allow for easy, one-touch folding or unfolding at the driver’s discretion. This provides added convenience when maneuvering or parking, as well as when walking past the parked vehicle. In comparison, the Daytona SP3’s foldable mirrors are manual, requiring the driver to get out and physically fold them once parked and unfold them before getting in.

The 750S has a standard center folding armrest for the driver and front passenger. A center armrest helps combat driver fatigue. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer a front seat center armrest.

The 750S’ standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The Daytona SP3 doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.

Model Availability

The McLaren 750S comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Ferrari Daytona SP3 isn’t available as a coupe.
