Compare the2026 McLaren 750SVS 2026 Ferrari Roma

The McLaren 750S has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The Roma doesn’t offer knee airbags.

The 750S has standard tall side airbags which act as a forgiving barrier between the driver and outboard passenger's upper bodies and the window and pillars. Combined with high-strength steel door beams and lower side airbags this system increases head protection in broadside collisions. The Roma doesn't offer side airbag protection for the head.

The 750S offers an optional 360 Degree Park Assist to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The Roma only offers a rear monitor and front and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the sides.

Both the 750S and the Roma have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights and rearview cameras.

The 750S’ corrosion warranty is 7 years longer than the Roma’s (10 vs. 3 years).

The 750S’ 4.0 turbo V8 produces 129 more horsepower (740 vs. 611) and 29 lbs.-ft. more torque (590 vs. 561) than the Roma’s 3.9 turbo V8.

The 750S has standard air brakes, which adjust the Spoiler automatically during high-speed braking in order to shorten stopping distances. The Roma doesn’t offer air brakes.

For better traction and acceleration, the 750S has larger rear tires than the Roma (305/30R20 vs. 285/35R20).

The 750S’ 305/30R20 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Roma’s standard 35 series tires.

The 750S has active sway bars, which help keep it flat and controlled during cornering, but disconnect at lower speeds to smooth the ride and offer greater off-road suspension articulation. This helps keep the tires glued to the road on-road and off. The Roma doesn’t offer an active sway bar system.

The 750S offers an available adjustable active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Ferrari doesn’t offer an active suspension on the Roma.

The 750S has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The Roma doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the 750S is 1.1 inches wider in the front than on the Roma.

The McLaren 750S may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 450 to 550 pounds less than the Ferrari Roma.

The 750S is 3.4 inches shorter than the Roma, making the 750S easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The 750S is 11.2 inches shorter in height than the Roma, making the 750S much easier to wash and garage and drive (lower center of gravity).

The 750S’ standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Roma doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.

The 750S Spider has a much larger trunk with its top down than the Roma (7.3 vs. 6 cubic feet).

The 750S’ standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The Roma’s available power window controls are spread out on the center console where they can’t be seen without the driver completely removing his eyes from the road.

The McLaren 750S comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Ferrari Roma isn’t available as a coupe.
