Rolls-Royce pays for scheduled maintenance on the Spectre for 4 years and unlimited miles. Rolls-Royce will pay for brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance. Lotus doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Emeya.

The Black Badge Spectre’s standard electric motors produces 66 lbs.-ft. more torque (792 vs. 726) than the Emeya R’s standard electric motors.

The Spectre with its standard motors can travel longer on a full charge than the Emeya R (277 miles vs. 270 miles).

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Spectre has standard 22-inch wheels. Smaller 20-inch wheels are standard on the Emeya. The Spectre’s optional 23-inch wheels are larger than the 22-inch wheels optional on the Emeya.

Having a flat tire is dangerous, inconvenient and expensive. The self-sealing tires standard on the Spectre can automatically seal most punctures up to 3/16 of an inch, effectively preventing most flat tires. The Emeya doesn’t offer self-sealing tires.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Spectre’s wheelbase is 5.6 inches longer than on the Emeya (126.4 inches vs. 120.8 inches).

With its coupe body style and remote trunk release lockout, the Spectre offers cargo security. The Emeya’s hatchback body style and non-lockable folding seat defeat cargo security.

A maintenance reminder system is standard on the Spectre to save the owner time and money by calculating maintenance intervals for brake pad replacement and vehicle inspections based on odometer mileage.
